to the winning Quiz Team,
'The Slingshots + 1'
Champions of 2022

DSCN1768 (1).JPG

After two years without a quiz it was such fun to have one again.

Our new quiz compiler was Andy Havard and he did an excellent job, taxing our brains at times but also bringing in some really different questions and a music round.

The atmosphere was great and everyone really enjoyed the evening.

Cheryl Holloway provided the main course which was delicious as ever and the puddings were many and varied made and donated by several good cooks from the village.

Once the evening had finished many people set-to and the hall was cleared in moments which was really appreciated by the members of the hall committee who were present.

The winning team were The Slingshots Marilyn Willoughby, Paul and Jan Harrison, Beryl Paton, Jane Hallett and Andrew Cousley. Look out for another quiz later in the year!

The Village Hall lies literally and metaphorically in the heart of the village, providing a hub for local activities which everyone can enjoy.
