The Greater Good Pub
The Greater Good is a family run, 18th Century Georgian Coaching Inn. It was purpose built in 1792 as a high quality Inn, with stabling for 25 horses for the London to Cornwall stage coaches. Recently restored, the Inn has a sense of history and period comfort.
The Greater Good is fast gaining an excellent reputation for wonderful food under the new management of husband and wife team Alex and Fritha. As a free house, the Greater Good also offers a range of quality Cask Ales such as Guy Ritchie's English Lore Ale and regular guest ales from local brewers make a regular appearance.
