Anyone living in Fovant inevitably comes to appreciate the wealth of wildlife in our gardens and so many of us ( as the Facebook group testifies) regard our visitors with affection, to the extent that some are given names!

We are all more acutely aware of the effects of global warming and keen to adopt more sustainable approaches to aspects of our lives, and so caring for wildlife by showing an interest in its welfare, protection and health is never more important.  A short tour of our village shows that people are planting more bee friendly flowers, creating wildflower habitats and wild grass meadows; we even grow roses for our Roe Deer to eat!
